My laptop is Windows I'm unable worksttation start any VM as it just hangs. I have no issues running any other application, the laptop is a Dell G5 64 bit.
It has an i7 and 16 gigs of ram. It was running fine when I was in front of it. However, when I RDP to it it is in a vmware workstation 14 very slow free away location right nowit is extremely slow and I can never get to the point of running a VM.
But every other application runs fine, it's smooth to interact with everything. Ver never experience any errors, I've looked online quite a bit and am still unable to find a fix. I made sure hyper-v was sloow running. I 144 running under different graphics card, nothing seems to work.

But it was working fine before I shipped it off. Maybe some windows updates happened and caused it as well. I'm going to see if I can get the client to interact with it locally to see if it has the same issue. What kind of policies and firewalling they might have that blocks what VMware needs?

That's a really good idea actually. The client that I'm working with does have a lot of crazy firewall rules.
